Welcome to Edgemont Labs! We are located in Ellensburg, Washington. We started breeding in 2003 with our first beautiful girl, Kaya (pictured at right). Since then, we have had multiple litters with Kaya, her daughter Roxy, her daughter Ziggy, and now Juneau! We only have one to two females at a time and usually only breed one female. Therefore, we have about two litters a year.
We do not condone puppy mills and only breed with studs that have been medically certified (hips, elbows, eyes, heart, DNA certified). When breeding with a stud, we also make sure that their dog is a family dog who is very well cared for. We breed mainly for family dogs who are great with kids; however, our dogs come from very strong hunting lineage as well as show lineage.
We have had the same lineage since Kaya. Kaya was an amazing family dog who was my husbands fishing and hunting partner as well as the flower girl at our wedding. We want our puppies to go to families that want a great family dog and are looking for an addition to their family.
